The season of good will is almost upon us and 2017 is almost but a memory. 2018 will be here in a matter of days which means that the speedway season will only be here in a little over three months times.

Like Bon Jovi once famously sang...”Woaahhh we’re half way there!”

Plenty has been going on since my last nonsensical ramblings on here, and the biggest news, at least from Bandits point of view, is the completion of the Bandits side following the signings of a returning Dany Gappmaier and newcomer John Lindman.

It is an interesting line-up which has divided opinion but one that I await with intrigue to see how it performs once the season rolls around.

There are at least a couple of riders who should be more than capable of building on their starting averages as well as providing plenty of excitement along the way.

As always there are doubters, but there will never be anyone who doesn’t have a shred of doubt irrespective of the line-up.

For once in my life I am going to keep this very brief, we are all busy at this time of year playing Santa and or, being Santa so it is time to compile a check list...

Presents....Check!

Turkey and Trimmings...Check!

Horrible music and horrendous jumpers...Check!

Bandits 2018 Season Pass ordered...Double Check!

Think we’re all set!

All that is left for me to say to you all is have a wonderful Christmas and a happy new year! You all deserve a massive thank you for taking the time to read what I have to say on here. Also thank you to those who have contributed on here by sending emails and such likes with ideas for features and what not.

See you all in 2018!

Of course if you wish to agree, or disagree with the Mythman, have an idea for a feature, or you simply want to chew the fat over all things speedway, you can email me Mythman666@hotmail.com. If your compliments, or indeed gripes can be contained to just 280 characters. You can send me a tweet @Mythman666.

Until next time...and there will be a next time.

Right I’ll hae’tae gan
